File Workbench

Editorial Policy

How File Workbench chooses, writes, reviews, and corrects tool pages and workflow guides.

Updated June 8, 2026

What we publish

We publish file utility pages and office workflow guides that help people complete a specific task: merging PDFs, extracting pages, compressing files for upload, converting images, or checking text length before submission.

How topics are chosen

Topics come from recurring office problems rather than broad trend coverage. A page should answer a practical question, connect to a working tool, and explain when the workflow is not the right fit.

Review standards

Before a page is published or updated, we check that it includes complete sentences, clear navigation, privacy notes, input and output expectations, limitations, and related tools or guides where helpful.

Corrections

Corrections can be sent to [email protected]. We prioritize issues that affect privacy expectations, file retention, output reliability, broken navigation, or misleading instructions.

Advertising separation

Advertising must be labeled and visually separated from tool controls, upload buttons, download actions, and support links. We do not ask visitors to click ads to support the site.
